To Commit a Transmittal

Once a transmittal has been created, it can be committed. Committing a transmittal provides a record that the documents have been issued.
Follow these steps to commit a transmittal in ALIM Web.
  1. In ALIM Web, open the distribution order with the transmittal that you want to commit.
  2. Expand the Transmittals topic. A list of transmittals for this distribution order appears.
  3. Select each transmittal that you want to commit.
  4. On the Object menu, select Commit Issue.

    The Commit Issue dialog appears.

  5. Click Commit to confirm that you want to commit the transmittal(s).
The transmittal is committed, and you may now email the transmittal to one or more recipients.
